Big boost to the Technical Education in the State

Shri Narender Bragta, Horticulture and Technical Education Minister said that State had witnessed a big boost in Technical Education during past four and half years, benefitting thousands of youth of the State. He was presiding over the meeting of State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), organised here today.
Shri Bragta said that the present State government had accorded priority for the technical education as soon as it came in to the power and added that in last four years, there had been tremendous expansion in technical education institutions in the State. More than 60 thousand students were getting better counselling through these institutions and most of them were getting good placements.
The Minister said that besides expansion of technical education institutes, qualitative education was also being ensured so that students gets jobs within and outside the State. He added that more than 500 recruitments had been made in the Technical Education department in the State, which was a record itself and reflected the commitment of the State Government to give new dimension to the technical education.
Various issues relating to the technical education were deliberated in the meeting in which official and non-official members gave their suggestions.
Shri Vijay Chandan, Director, State Council for Technical Education, welcomed the Minister and others.
Shri Sanjay Murthy, Secretary, Technical Education, Shri J.C Chauhan, Special Secretary, Technical Education, Shri Rajender Chauhan, State Industrial Advisor, other senior officers and non-official members were present in the meeting.
