Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister released English Poetry Books ‘Nature Psalms’ and ‘Conifers Call; Shimla Journal of Poetry and Criticism’, authored by Dr. Harish Kumar Thakur, Associate Professor, Government Degree College, Suni, district Shimla, here today. Books contain poetic creations on different topics and are wonderful feast for the poetry lovers. These books consist of the fragments of nature like Sun, Moon, the sky, the earth, landscapes, rivers, forests, trees, leaves, flowers etc.

Chief Minister congratulated the author for bringing out the books. He said that poems written on nature and environment were inspiring and environment friendly. Nature happens to be the first teacher of human being and its images leave indelible impression upon the minds of people. He said that the poetry book was a dialogue with the nature and its multiple offerings would keep haunting nature lovers. He said that these books were bound to motivate young poets to conceive ideas from the poems and write more poetry books.

Shri I.S.Rawat, Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Mashobra, Shri Pramod Thakur, President, Shimla Kisan Morcha, Prof.; Deepak Kapret, Prof. Naresh Verma, Prof. Ashok Munjal, Prof. Gopal Chauhan, Prof. Raman Kumar and Shri D.S.Thakur were also present on the occasion.
