A meeting of the Governing Body of State Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition Society was held here under the Chairmanship of Shri S. Roy, Chief Secretary who is also Secretary Tourism & Civil Aviation and Chairman of the Society.

He said that the Craftsmanship Course in Food Production and Diploma in Food & Beverages and Front Office Courses with an intake of 30 students would be started from the ensuing academic session. He directed the authorities to provide hostel facility for boys & girls in the ensuing session at SIHM Hamirpur and to procure additional books for library.

Chief Secretary also launched the official website of State Institute of Hotel Management, Hamirpur (www.sihmhamripur.org). He congratulated the team of SIHM for developing the website and hoped that the website would help in providing valuable information.
