A spokesman of the Election Department said here today that revision of photo electoral rolls for Lok Sabha and State Assembly elections would be carried out from 2nd August to 17th August, 2010. He said that draft publication of photo electoral rolls would be done on 2nd August, 2010, Claims/Objections would be filed from 2-17 August, 2010.

He further said that related part and section of the photo electoral rolls would be read out on 14th August, 2010 in Gram Sabha meetings. Filing of claims/objections of political parties during special campaign would be received from 7 to 8 August, 2010 and the final publication of photo electoral rolls would be done on 15th September, 2010.

He said that a person who wants to confirm his name in the present electoral rolls could visit the website 'http://ceohimachal.nic.in.
