Himachal Pradesh Cabinet which met here under the Chairmanship of Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, placed on record the services rendered by Smt. Asha Swarup, Chief Secretary who shall be attaining superannuation on July 31, 2010. The Cabinet opined that the suggestions given on various matters of public importance from time to time by her which had resulted into formulation of effective policies and programmes for overall development and welfare programmes implementation.

Smt. Asha Swarup, Chief Secretary, thanked the Chief Minister and all his Cabinet colleagues for the faith they had reposed in her during the period she served the State.
