Vidhan Sabha Session from 21st August

  The monsoon Vidhan Sabha session would begin from 21st August to 31 August 2015. There would be seven sittings  in all. The decision was taken in a cabinet meeting held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.

It also approved regularisation of contract Panchayats Secretaries in Zila Parishad cadre. There were as many as 1132 such Panchayats Secretaries  who would be  benefitted from the decision.

The Chief Minister said that as the others panchayat secretaries would also be regularised after they complete  five years of contractual service.. He said there would be an additional expenditure of Rs 12 crore per annum on the emoluments of the regularised secretaries.

In addition the Cabinet also approved creation of 13 posts of Junior Assistants (IT) in State Election Commission (SEC) on contract basis. The Cabinet also took a decision to re-designate post of Law officer as electoral officer in SEC.

Nod was given to shift headquarters of  PWD B&R Mandi Division Nos (i) at Paddar  back to Mandi town as was before.

Cabinet also decided to fill 30 posts of different categories in Sainik Welfare department.
