HP CABINET DECISIONS

The Cabinet in its meeting held here today decided to enhance maternity leave to women employees of the State government from existing 135 days to 180 days.

The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh.

Keeping in view reducing litigation and saving avoidable costs on unproductive litigation, decision was taken to establish three tier ‘Dispute Resolution Process’ in Irrigation and Public Health Department. It is viewed as an effective method in settling disputes between contractors and the department or between two or more parties.

The Cabinet approved framing of policy for ‘Special Educator’ under School Management Committee at par with Junior Basic Trained (JBT) Teachers  appointed on contract basis.

Other Important Decisions

The cabinet accorded its approval to appoint Indian Women Cricket Team Wicketkeeper Sushma Devi of Shimla Rural constituency as DSP in H.P. Police Services as a special case against three percent reservation in direct recruitment post for distinguished sports persons.

The Cabinet gave its nod to open new HPPWD Division at Nerchowk in Mandi district along-with creation of 20 posts of various categories for manning the division.

It decided to open Tehsil Welfare Office, Balh at Ner Chowk in district Mandi along-with creation of requisite posts.

Nod was given to open Police post  at Tihra under Police Station Dharampur in district Mandi along-with creation of requisite staff.

Cabinet decided to open Police Posts at Lagdu in Kangra and at Maraog in Shimla district along with requisite staff 12 posts.

Approval was accorded to open Primary School in Kut village of GP Bhitalu in Dharamshala education block of Kangra district.

The Cabinet decided to open Primary School Jhiriwala in GP Bhojpur, education block Nalagarh in district Solan.

Approval was accorded by the Cabinet to open primary schools at village Ropara of education block Drang-2, at village Dhanog in education block Sadar-I and at village Kandi in education block Karsog-2 in Mandi district.  

The Cabinet decided to create Elementary Education Block office Patta Mahlog by bifurcating Elementary Education Block Kuthar in district Solan. 

 

The Cabinet decided to  upgrade Sub Tehsil Galore to Tehsil and open new Sub Tehsil at Bhota in Hamirpur district.

Nod was given to the proposal for creating new patwar circle at Kheel in Karsog tehsil of district Mandi.

The Cabinet decided to include Roso patwar circle into Sub Tehsil Tihra by excluding it from Tehsil Sarkaghat and include patwar circles Gahra and Mari into tehsil Sandhol by excluding these from Tehsil Dharampur in Mandi district to facilitate the people of these areas.

The Cabinet also decided to include Dalash and Kanda  (Phati Vyungal) patwar circles into Ani tehsil  by exclude these from Sub Tehsil Nithar in Kullu district.  

Decision was taken to convert 530 Gram Panchayat Veterinary Assistants (GPVAs) on contract basis who are working under Mukhya Mantri Arogya Pashudhan Yojna and has given five years of service.

Decision was taken to open new Ayurveda Health Center (AHC) at Dhalchera in GP Dhalchera and village Chambeh in GP Giaragran in district Hamirpur alongwith creation of four posts for each AHC.

It was decided to set up Government polytechnic at Karsog in district Mandi.

Decision was taken to take over private building of M/s Himachal Baspa Power Company Limited at Urni to set up government polytechnic.

Health Sector

The Cabinet decided to reserve one seat for Single Girl Child in PG (MD/MS) courses in government medical colleges under the State Quota Seats.

The Cabinet decided to open Primary Health Center (PHC) at Masrund in district Chamba alongwith requisite staff.

As  per the announcement of Chief Minister, the Cabinet decided to open PHCs in Jagat Khana, Bagipul, Urtoo in GP Rahnoo, Loohri in Anni and Ghatoo, all in Kullu district along-with creation of posts.

Approval was also accorded to upgrade HSC Baga and HSC Kedar GP Mangal to PHC   in district Solan along-with creation of three posts.

The Cabinet gave its approval to upgrade HSC Chowk to PHC in district Mandi alongwith requisite staff.

Jobs/ posts

It also gave its nod to create and fill up various posts of various teaching faculty in newly upgraded schools in districts Solan, Mandi, Sirmaur, Shimla, Bilaspur and Kullu.

Cabinet decided to fill up 9 posts of Assistant Engineers (Civil) and one post of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) in Irrigation and Public Health Department by direct recruitment on contract basis.

The Cabinet gave its approval to fill 50 posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) in Treasury, Accounts and Lottery Department on contract basis.

It accorded its approval to 11 posts of teaching faculty and 11 posts of non teaching faculty  for Architecture discipline in Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering college Kangra at Nagrota Bagwan.

The Cabinet gave its nod to fill three posts of Assistant Professor (Pharmacy) and one post of Assistant Librarian on contract basis in Government Pharmacy College, Kangra at Nagrota Bagwan .

The Cabinet agreed to create 6 posts of Assistant Professor and a post of Assistant Librarian for Government Degree College, Pangi in district Chamba on contract basis.

It gave its approval to create and fill up 18 posts of various categories in Government Degree College Thachi in district Mandi which includes one post of Assistant Librarian also.

The Cabinet accorded its consent for creation  and filling up of 18 posts in Government Degree College at Narag in district Sirmaur which includes one post of Assistant Librarian also.

The pay structure of various teaching faculty categories in Sister Nivedita Government Nursing College were revised from prospective effect equating them with Assistant Director Nursing at par with Professor cum principal, Nursing principal at par with Reader cum Assistant professor, principal Nursing Officer at par with Lecturer and Sister tutor at par with Tutor cum clinical instructor.

Decision was also taken to create one post of Associate Professor and one Lecture in Sister Nivedita Government Nursing College, Shimla.

It was also decided by the Cabinet to create 21 posts of various categories for upcoming government nursing college at Nerchowk.

The cabinet decided to fill up 16 posts of Excise and Taxation Officers on regular basis through direct recruitment in Excise and Taxation Department.

It was decided to fill up one post of Scientific Officer, one post of Sr. Scientific Assistant/Sr. Technical Assistant, one post of Data Entry Operator, one post of Master Trainer and one post of Peon at ‘Appropriate Technology Center’ at Rait in Kangra distict.

It gave its approval to fill up five posts of Law Officers on contract basis  in Secretariat Administration Department.

 

CHOPAL Gets its big share: Kupvi gets development block

The cabinet approved development Block at Kupvi to facilitate the people of the remote belt of Chopal area.

Decision was taken to take over privately managed Bijeshwar Sanskrit College, Sarain in Chopal alongwith its staff and creation of posts in this college.  

It also gave its approval to open Primary School at Aashadhar in GP Majholi in Kupvi block, primary School in Sheer in GP Mashroh in Chopal and new primary school in village Dalori in GP Dhar Chanana in Kupvi as per announcement of Chief Minister.

Nod was given to open PHC at Kayotholi in GP Kiran in Shimla district, PHC at Dhar-Chanana, PHC at Idda in GP Khundneval, Health Sub Center (HSC) at Deiya Dhochi in Nerwa, HSC at Bhot in GP Jhina in Chopal and upgradation of HSC Bijmal to PHC in GP Bijmal in Chopal in district Shimla alongwith creation of posts.

The Cabinet gave its approval to create and fill up  requisite posts of various categories for manning the various upgraded schools in Chopal area of Shimla district which includes Government Middle School Ropari , Lachhog and Middle School Samuhi. Besides, it was decided  to fill up posts in recently upgraded Middle Schools to High Schools viz. Karati, Bandur.  The Schools upgraded to Senior Secondary includes Jubbar, Ginyah, Rinjat Bharan and Dhotali.
