Additional Chief Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies Shri Tarun Kapoor said that the department was was ensuring that essential commodities was made available to the consumers as per their entitlement. He said that sufficient quantity of Wheat Atta, Wheat and Rice was available in all the godowns of H.P. State Civil Supplies Corporation and the same was being lifted by the Fair Price Shops. He said that all beneficiaries could take Wheat Atta, Wheat and Rice from their Fair Price Shops for the month of April, 2017.
He said that the Govt. of India was not giving subsidy on Sugar. Therefore, no subsidized sugar is being provided for the month of April, 2017. Those beneficiaries who have not taken sugar for previous months i.e. February and March, 2017 can take their backlog as some old stocks are still available.
He said that the supply order of Mustard Oil for the month of March, 2017 was issued on 10 April 2017 and supplies are in progress. Till date about 17.00 lakhs litres Mustard Oil have been received in Corporations godowns. The Mustard Oil is available to the consumers @ Rs. 68.00 per litre, he added.
He said that the supply order for Moong Sabut for the month of March, 2017 has been issued and the stocks will be available in Corporations godowns shortly. The sale rate of Moong Sabut is Rs. 40.00 per Kg. He said that the supply order for Malka is being issued shortly and sale rate of Malka is Rs. 40.00 per Kg. He said due to refusal by the L-1 bidder short-term tenders of Dal Chana are being invited shortly. He said the allocation of Wheat Atta for the month April, 2017 is 14962.71 MTs under OTNFSA Scheme and allocation of Wheat under NFSA category is 11923 MTs for the month April, 2017 which was being distributed to the consumers.
He said the allocation of Rice under OTNFSA Scheme for the month of April, 2017 is 8493 MTs and the allocation of Rice under NFSA Scheme is 6957 MTs for the month of April, 2017 and the same is being distributed to the consumers.
