Incentive to doctors, staff and students deployed in Covid duties

A spokesperson of the Health Department said here today that incentive shall be granted to the 4^th and 5^th year MBBS students, Junior and Senior Residents, contractual doctors, contractual laboratory staff and 3^rd year GNM students.

He said that an incentive of Rs. ten thousand shall be granted to 4^th and 5^th year MBBS students, Rs. ten thousand to Junior and Senior Residents, Rs. ten thousand to contractual doctors deployed for Covid-19 duties in various Government Medical Colleges, Hospitals, Dedicated Covid Centres and Hospitals till 30^th June, 2021. Besides this, incentive of Rs. six thousand shall be provided to BSc and MSc 3^rd year Nursing students, Rs. five thousand to contractual laboratory staff and GNM 3^rd year students of these institutions deployed for Covid-19 duties.

He said that this incentive shall be in addition to the regular payments or salary given to them.
