Governor and Chief Minister extend greetings on Id-ul- Zuha

                        

Governor Bandaru Dattatraya and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have felicitated the people of the State particularly the Muslim brethren on the occasion of Id-ul- Zuha.

In his message on the occasion, Bandaru Dattatraya has conveyed his greetings and best wishes to all Muslim brothers and sisters. He prayed for happiness, peace and prosperity of all especially the people of Himachal Pradesh.

Jai Ram Thakur said that Id-ul-Zuha symbolizes sacrifice, faith, devotion, the spirit of universal love and brotherhood. He appealed the people to work for peace, progress and prosperity of the State.   

He said that Id-ul-Zuha is a festival of sacrifice and devotion to the God. He hoped that this festival would further strengthen the bond of love and brotherhood. He said that this festival is festival of great rejoice, special prayers and exchange of greetings and gifts mark this festival. Id-ul-zuha, the festival of sacrifice is celebrated with traditional fervor and gaiety throughout the country.

Chief Minister urged the people to celebrate this festival while ensuring precautions of wearing masks and social distancing etc. keeping in view COVID-19 pandemic.
