Warm welcome accorded to Bandaru Dattatraya at Shimla

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur greeting Governor of Himachal Pradesh (designate) Bandaru Dattatraya at Shimla on 10 Sep 2019.

Governor of Himachal Pradesh (designate) Bandaru Dattatraya was given a rousing reception on his arrival at Shimla today. His wife Vasantha also accompanied him.

Bandaru Dattatraya will swear in as the 27th Governor of Himachal Pradesh on 11 September at 11.00 AM.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Mayor Kusum Sadret, Chief Secretary Dr. Shrikant Baldi, Director General of Police S.R. Mardi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sanjay Kundu, senior officials of the state government and other dignitaries welcomed him at the Raj Bhawan.

The Chief Minister honoured Bandaru Dattatraya with Himachali cap and shawl.

Earlier, Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Deputy Commissioner Amit Kashyap, Superintendent of Police Umapati Jamwal and others welcomed Bandaru Dattatraya at Annandale helipad.
