Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has expressed grief over demise of former Education Minister Shiv Kumar Upmanyu who passed away yesterday night at private hospital in Kangra.
In his condolence message to the bereaved family members, the Chief Minister said that Shiv Kumar Upmanyu was a mass leader whose contributions towards upliftment of poor and down trodden were immense.
He prayed to the Almighty for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
Shiv Kumar Upmanyu was three time MLA from Bhatiyat area of Chamba district.
