Governor stresses for cleanliness in Hospitals

                                     

  • Identify, suitable land for sarai, near IGMC: Governor

"Cleanliness, should be the propriety of hospital administration in the state, as clean environment provides positive energy to patients and visitors, coming to hospitals for treatment," said Governor, Acharya Devvrat to Principal IGMC Dr. Mukund who had come to meet him, at Raj Bhawan, here today. He said clean surrounding and polite dealing gives inner strength to patients leading to speedy recovery.

He said patients in large number come to IGMC from all over the state for treatment. Attendants accompanying patients face tough time for finding adequate staying facility in and around IGMC Shimla. He asked the Principal to identify suitable land around IGMC at the same time upgrade facilities in the sarai of IGMC.

Governor said that adequate basic facilities for attendants should be provided nearby so that they could also stay comfortably during the duration of treatment.

Governor said many NGOs and social organization are regularly arranging community lunch to attendants near hospitals and serving the noble cause of humanity. He said that proper shed should be constituted at suitable place so that food could be, served and distributed properly.
