CM holds meeting to review preparations for President's visit

Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur presiding over a meeting to review the preparations of the State Government for the visit of President of India at Shimla on 17 May, 2018.

A meeting to review the preparations of the State Government for the visit of President of India to State from 20^th to 24^th May, 2018 was held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.

He directed all the officers to make elaborate preparations for the scheduled visit of the President. He said that foolproof security arrangements should be made during the visit of the President. He also directed the officers to ensure arrangements for smooth plying of vehicles with minimum inconvenience to the general public and tourists.

Chief Minister also directed the officers for proper upkeeping of roads and helipads.

Chief Secretary Vineet Chawdhry, Additional Chief Secretaries B.K. Aggarwal, Dr. Shrikant Baldi and Manisha Nanda, Director General of Police S.R. Mardi, Deputy Commissioner, Shimla Amit Kashyap, Commissioner MC Shimla Rohit Jamwal, Director, Information and Public Relations Anupam Kashyap, S.P. Shimla Umapati Jamwal, Special Secretary GAD Suneel Sharma and senior officers of the State Government were present on the occasion.
