CM launches three services

Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur  launching CM Dashboard,DBT Services and Mobile App for Anganwadis at Shimla  on 3 April 2018.

 

Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur launched CM Dash board, Direct Benefit Transfer of 25 services and Mobile App for Aanganwadis here today.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Jai Ram Thakur said that all there apps would go a long way in providing effective, responsive and accountable administration to the people of the State. He said that all the Departments of the State Government would be directly linked with the CM Dash board and the Chief Minister would have access to all the details regarding ongoing schemes, progress in its implementation and new initiatives taken by the department.

The Chief Minister said that it would ensure regular monitoring of ongoing schemes of various departments and their effective and time bound completion. He said that all the departments would have to go for automation of their functioning and regularly update their ongoing projects. He said that in the present era of Information Technology, the State Government was committed to ensure optimum utilization of all Information Technology tools for good governance. He said that till date 53 projects and schemes of over 24 departments have been registered with the CM Dash board and soon most of the departments would get themselves registered with it.

Shri Jai Ram Thakur said that Direct Benefit Transfer for additional 25 services would also benefit the beneficiaries as all the subsidy and Government assistance was directly being transferred in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. He said that DBT  was already being implemented for 31 services in the State. He said that it would not only check bogus beneficiaries but also ensure transparent financial transaction.

The Chief Minister said that the Aaganwadi App would ensure Geo mapping of the Aanganwadi Centres in the State, ditigitization of data of the beneficiaries and linking the beneficiaries with AADHAR. He said that the State of Himachal Pradesh was third State in the country after Delhi and Goa in term of linking of AADHAR. He said that the App would not only help the Aanganbari workers in effective functioning but also their dues transferred directly into their accounts.

He also transferred honorarium of Ananagbari workers for the month directly into their bank account by click of a button. He also released a 100 day programme (Report Card) of the  Information Technology department.

Agriculture, Information Technology and Tribal development Minister Dr Ram Lal Markanda said that soon after assuming office the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur had made it clear that it would ensure maximum utilization of Information Technology for good governance and the services launched today was a step in this direction.  He said the Union Government has ensured full support to provide IT related and Wi-Fi facilities to all the panchayats of the State by end of the current year.

Principal Secretary Information Technology Shri  J.C. Sharma  detailed various benefits of these three services launched today by the Chief Minister. Director Information Technology Shri Rohan Chand Thakur conducted the  proceeding of the event and assured the Chief Minister that the department would work with dedication and commitment to come upto the expectations of the Chief Minister.

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Virender Kanwar, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr Rajiv Saizal, Additional Chief secretary and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Smt. Manisha Nanda, Additional Chief Secretary Ayurveda Smt. Nisha Singh, Secretary GAD Shri Akshey Sood, Director Information and Public Relations Shri Anupam Kashyap and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
