Apropos to launching of 'One District One Police Station'(ODPS) pilot project, by Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh on 3rd March 2013, the Chief Minister today, launched the same selecting Police Station Sadar, Shimla for inclusion under ODPS from Directorate of Forensic Science, Junga.
The project aims at scientific aids to criminal justice delivery system and identifying heinous crimes.
“The pilot project envisages selection of one police station by the Superintendent of Police in one district. The Sadar Police Station, Dharamsala, was the first adopted by the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory to augment forensic inputs in criminal investigation.
