Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu released the Forest Rights Act (FRA) Calendar for the year 2025-26 at Shimla. The calendar outlines in detail the various activities to be undertaken throughout the year under the FRA.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the calendar would serve as a valuable guide for revenue officers, as it elaborates a comprehensive schedule for each activity. He said that the structured planning would ensure better implementation and monitoring of FRA-related tasks across the state.
Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, MLA Harish Janartha and Additional Chief Secretary Onkar Chand Sharma were present on the occasion.
