Information Technology Courses pave way for brighter future for youth

Himachal Pradesh Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has started various new degree and diploma courses in various Government Engineering Colleges and Government polytechnics Colleges across the State to keep abreast with the fast-paced world.  An official  spokesman said that recently the Government has approved introduction of new degree course of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College at Nagrota Bagwan in district Kangra, Civil Engineering degree course in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Institute of Engineering and Technology at Pragatinagar, district Shimla, diploma course of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) in Government Polytechnic, Sundernagar, district Mandi.

The Spokesman said that Artificial Intelligence and data science is crucial in a world where data drives most and business social processes. He said that AI and data science skills are in high demand across industries. He said that youth trained in these areas can get positioned for future job markets, where automation and data driven decisions are the key. He said that it will not only offer promising career opportunities to youth but also empower them to contribute meaningfully to society through innovation.  He said these courses will go a long way in teaching the students about analyzing data, extract meaningful insights and make informed decisions.

He said that the Civil Engineering degree course being introduced in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pragatinagar will provide youth with competitive wages and ample opportunities for professional growth and will contribute their best for creation of vibrant infrastructure. He said that necessary staff was being provided for starting these courses.  These courses will provide ample employment opportunities to the youth of the State, He added
