CS directs to ensure success of Swachh Himachal-Swasth Himachal campaign-2021

Swachh Himachal-Swasth Himachal campaign to commence from 9 August to 15 August

Chief Secretary Anil Khachi presided over the review meeting for successful implementation of Swachh Himachal-Swasth Himachal campaign-2021, which would commence from 9^th August to 15^th August, 2021 to commemorate 75 years of Independence of the country.

Chief Secretary directed the officers to ensure success of the Swachh Himachal-Swasth Himachal campaign while strictly following the guidelines and Covid SOPs. He said the campaign would be launched in all districts, tehsils, blocks and panchayat level, which would be organised in coordination and under supervision of Deputy Commissioners, Director Urban Development and Rural Development Departments. A cleanliness drive would be organised by concerned departments at various places, he added.

Anil Khachi said that assistance of all government departments, institutions and non government institutions would be taken for success of the event. An outline for daily activities of the week long campaign has been prepared, under which segregation of collected waste into bio-degradable and non bio-degradable would also be done and various kinds of competitions would also be organised. Awards would be given to Urban Local Bodies, Panchayati Raj Institutions, department and institutions for best performance during the cleanliness drive.
