Delegation call on Revenue Minister

A delegation of the Himachal Pradesh DC's office employees Union, led by its President Lokender Chauhan met Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi today and placed forth the various demands related to recruitment and promotion rules.

Jagat Singh Negi emphasized that public service is the government’s primary objective and directed revenue staff to ensure efficiency and discipline to facilitate the people in a time bound manner.

The Union raised issues related to recruitment and promotion rules for Naib Tehsildars, Superintendents and Patwaris, and demanded creation of essential posts in tehsils.

The Minister assured that all genuine demands would be considered sympathetically and resolved in a time-bound manner.

Senior revenue officials were present during the meeting.
